Mommy, can you please not kiss me outside of our house?

I can't exactly remember when Moses asked me " Mommy, can you please not kiss me outside of our house? I feel so embarrassed . It was because I kissed and hugged him after he came out from the school. It was so funny. I guess it was about the time when he was just promoted to grade 3. Then I asked him why , and I told him because I loved him so much and I couldn't wait kissing him after school. He said I could do that inside our HOUSE, but not outside.

One time, I teased him when we were walking on the way back home after school, when I reached near his friend's house, I kissed his face without his alert.  " Oh, Mommy!! why did you do that ? did I tell you before ? you can only kiss me when you are inside our house..", I laughed immediately, I can't stop laughing .

Not only kissing, but also holding his hands near the school area is NOT ALLOWED.
But when he is at house, he always loves to sit on my lap or hug me at the times.

Karate kid and dad

When Nate's mom( mom of Moses's classmate) told me that Nate had to rush for Karate at Y with his dad after attending Moses's birthday party, I realized that dad/mom and their kids can learn Karate at the same time. I let Moses and Man sign up immediately , one of the reasons is that I wanted Moses to do some exercises since we didn't sign up the skating class for him this winter. Man feels the schedule would be too tight for Moses.
Another reason I want them to play Karate together is because they can build up good relationship, trust with each other. After they got the yellow belt on Nov 23, I found that I have made a right decision. Man and Moses always practiced together and they do have fun too.  
Also, it is so funny when they practiced at home, Micah will follow and he might think he knows how to play too!

Summer soccer kicks off !

Summer soccer kicked off on Tue this week, it is the 2nd year that Moses joined it. This year, he got the blue soccer uniform, which is so cool! His favourite color!  He really wants to be a goalie, but I told him that he has to learn more techniques, I trust thru playing soccer, he not only learned how to play soccer, but also some interactions with kids!

Beaver Summer camp 2011

I am not sure whether it is the 6th time Moses has his sleepover camp with Beavers, it seems that he loves it very much, and everytime when he was back from camp, he was tired but kept telling me what he did in the camp. He is so grown up now!

Whenever he is away from home, I will miss him very much ! It is so sweet that we will kiss and hug each other when we meet again!

Next week, he will have the swim up ceremony , he will be Scout cubs in Sept( 8-10 years), he can't wait for it and he knows he will learn a lot in cubs.

special baby shower party for Bella

 Bella( Moses's classmate) will be a big sister in July, she will have a little baby brother soon ! Her mom adopted a little boy from Africa and he will come to Canada in July! So Claire's mom prepared a special party for Bella, which it was a big surprise to her. We all arrived in Claire's house before Mary and Bella came, when she entered into the house, we all hided , and then gave her a big surprise!


It is very special to give her such a baby shower party, because we want her to be well prepared, and of course it will make her so excited to welcome her little brother. We had an awesome party on that day, we had games , snacks for the kids. Micah enjoyed so much too !
