When I were in Hong Kong, I was "told" and " educated" that Happy Valentine Day was for loved couples. To me, it is a very commercial day, There are a lot of promotions for Valentine day, like chocolate, flowers, a romantic dinner with your spouse, boy-friend, girl-friend. The price of a bunch of flowers suddenly goes up to 3 to 4 times on that day comparing with the regular day, couples are eating out in the restaurant with a lot of upcharge due to that special day. Now when I came to Canada, I found that the interpretation is a little bit different, people share loves with friends and families, not only couples. Moses has to send Valentine cards to his classmates, teachers during that day, and he will have a party at school, which all kids will get some chocolate, candies, and cards .
It is very new to me, I never thought that actually love is from our Holy God, we love becaues He first loves us!
HE is the source of love! Though when we share our loves to friends, co-workers, husband, our kids, they will be in different levels of loves. But our God, He loves his children equally, He loves us even we have sins, and because HE loves us, HE sent his son Jesus to die for us in the cross! His love is unconditional ! Oh Lord, now I understand more about Loves.
It was the first day I specially homemade a special meal to my hubsand and my sons.. Steaks, mushrooms, french onion soup for myself and my husband , and pizza for my kids!
Thanks God that HE gave me the two lovely sons, who have been giving my husband and me a lot of funs and joys everyday. I treasure every moment we are together, they are such precious gifts in our lifes. With the graces from God, and our loves to them, I should write what they do everyday, and I think when they grow up, when they look into this blog, they will have a lot of unforgettable experiences with me and his daddy.
